Open the Network Connections window. Select the network connections to bridge. To select more than one connection at a time, press and hold the Ctrl key as you click each one. Right-click the selected icons and choose the Bridge Connections command.
Get a Wireless Bridge or an Acesss point that can function as a wireless bridge and use it on one end or the other to connect the two networks. At this point you would essentially have both networks using the one single DHCP server and that one single network connection. Let us assume the following network setup: ^^Please ignore the AP; Wlan; LAN ip, all of them is not been use in this setup, photo just for reference.^^ Follow the steps below to create transparent bridge using WDS: 1. Create a bridge interface on AP and add ether1 interface to the bridge in WinBox or in console The bridge has three ports. A is connected to bridge port 1, B is connected to bridge port 2, C is connected to bridge port 3. A sends a frame addressed to B to the bridge. The bridge examines the source address of the frame and creates an address and port number entry for A in its forwarding table. Windows provides the capability to connect or bridge two different network types through software. This can eliminate the need to buy a hardware device to connect two disparate networks. This has been a part of Windows since XP and still works just fine in Windows 10. Here’s an example. are you looking to have both networks on the same subnet? if yes you can use the ASA as a transparent firewall. if not you can enable the ASA in routed mode instead and do NAT exception between the interfaces connected to both networks. In this link security appliance connects the same network on its inside and outside ports in transparent mode. An Ethernet bridge is a device for forwarding packets between two or more Ethernets so that they behave in most respects as if they were a single network. It could be a physical device, but it is also possible for a bridge to be implemented entirely in software. The Linux kernel has the ability to perform bridging by means of the bridge module. May 21, 2014 · A Router bridge connects two or more routers to extend the range of your network, providing additional Ethernet ports and wireless access points. But before you begin, you must first decide how each router will be used.

It does not change the fact that you have two IP subnets. I see only three real possibilities, in descending preference. Buy a router to route between the subnets. Readdress one or both of the subnets to a common IP subnet.
Were you actually able to bridge the two networks? Hamachi can link multiple machines from two networks together but it is not able bridge the networks which would require only one machine from each network to be connected to the Hamachi network and act as a gateway for machines from both networks to communicate.
Then I would go into the server and bridge the two connections under network places. Is this correct? We also have a couple of smart switches that are pretty versatile when it comes to configuration. Is there any way I could configure that to bridge the two networks together? Thank you very much.
