Dec 15, 2016 · For the last month, my laptop has randomly been disconnecting from my WiFi, and I'm not sure why. I maybe watching a video and then it randomly just disconnects. Ethernet connection on my Windows 10 desktop keeps disconnecting and reconnecting I recently bought a Nighthawk R7000 router modem and whenever I would use ethernet connection on my desktop it would disconnect for a few seconds and reconnect every couple of minutes. You might also try going to your My Account page, click on the Equipment tab, then Internet from the drop down to bring up your connected modem. Click the Refresh Status link. This might work, especially if you keep getting reps that don't know what they're doing. My laptop is connected via wifi to my modem/router from Comcast.-Since I posted this I looked into my modem being the cause of the disconnects and I will be replacing it with a new one from Comcast tomorrow probably.
Feb 03, 2014 · Just switched to Spectrum internet from At&t Uverse and my wifi connection is constantly being dropped, about once every 30 mins. This kind of thing never happened with At&t. I can usually get it to reconnect immediately, but it is extremely annoying since I can't play multiplayer games.
I got my Predator Helios 300 a month ago, and almost since the first day I've had this issue where my Wifi connection just randomly disconnects. Whenever I browse the internet on my laptop, it seems to randomly disconnect. I really don't know why. It only happens on my laptop, and whenever it disconnects on my laptop, my phone seems to be able to access internet still. So I think it's a problem with my laptop, but how do I troubleshoot this?
